The Macho Martini

  • 3 oz Gin
  • 0.5 oz Single Malt Scotch
  • 2 Jalapeno Stuffed Olives

  • Pour gin and scotch and into a shaker with ice. Shake briefly until chilled, strain into martini glass, garnish with skewered olives.

     

     

    Traditional Greek Salad

  • 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 clove Garlic, Peeled
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1/4 cup Parsley, Chopped
  • 2 Red Onions, Thinly Sliced
  • 2 Ripe Tomatoes, Cut into Chunks
  • 1 Cucumber, Scored and Sliced
  • 12-18 Kalamata Olives
  • 1/4 to 1/2 pound Feta Cheese, Crumbled
  • To Make Dressing:
    Combine olive oil, vinegar, bay leaf, garlic and oregano. Shake well and chill several hours (overnight is ideal).

    To Make Salad:
    In a large salad bowl combine parsley, onions, tomatoes, cucumber, olives and feta cheese.

    Remove bay leaf from the dressing, shake dressing well and pour over salad.

    Serves 4-6 people.
